Fylingdales School is at the heart of the community it serves. Members of the community are regular visitors into school and even volunteer to run after school activities. Events organised by the school such as the annual May Queen Ceremony, fundraising activities and performances are well supported by parents and the community. The school has extremely good links with all of the local churches. Members of the churches regularly come into school to take assembly and make up our ‘Circle of Friends’ for collective worship. The Head Teacher writes a school report for the local magazine ‘Bay Fair’ every month to keep the community informed of past achievements and forthcoming events.

The immense wealth of resources that our locality has to offer provides enrichment to the Curriculum and adds to the experiences of every child.
