COMPARATIVE REPORT – OUTCOMES 2016

The information published below is related to the new standards from the outcomes of the 2015-16 academic year. As a result, comparisons are based on attainment against National benchmarks. The data is only related to the most recent cohort and cannot be compared to previous years as it was a different curriculum. In 2016 there were 12 Year 6 pupils.

Progress scores are compared to a national figure of ‘0’. The DfE has set up a Floor Standard for all Primary Schools at the end of Key Stage 2 with thresholds for schools to be above to meet the Floor Standard.

For 2016 outcomes, a school will be above the floor in Key Stage 2 if:

  • At least 65% of pupils meet the expected standard in Reading, Writing or Mathematics

OR

  • The school achieves sufficient progress scores in ALL THREE subjects. At least - 5 in

Reading, - 5 in Mathematics and – 7 in Writing.
